One thing that was odd for me was that I kept hearing Nick Briggs' voice in all the different daleks. This might be my new favorite team Tardis. Though I did enjoy the alieness of the Enigma, and Jacqueline and John continued to be fabulous. I was a touch disappointed that Leela spent so much time possessed because I wanted more of *her* and her story. The third story was big Daleks against Time Lords again. ![]() Of all the companions who could end up in the Time War, Leela was the perfect choice. Louise did an absolutely wonderful job with the older version of the character. The 2nd story was my favorite, Leela returned and in a very interesting and broken way. The first story picked up where the last one left off, with the two of them escaping the daleks, and bringing them to a new planet. In many ways this is what I'd wanted from the War Doctor all along, it was mostly him and Jacqueline Pearce together, and she was simply fantastic in this with so many wonderful lines. It was bittersweet listening knowing that it was the last one John Hurt did before he passed. The 2nd story was my favori I think this may have been the best of the War Doctor audios. I think this may have been the best of the War Doctor audios.
